al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) Videos Vol. 2 DVD:Start from Here and Meet in al-Aqsa

IntelCenter has released al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) Videos Vol. 2 DVD. It contains a 19'00" video from AQAP's al-Malahim entitled "Start from Here and Meet in al-Aqsa". It was released on 23 Jan. 2009 and is in Arabic. It features video statements from AQAP Emir Nasir al-Wuhayshi, AQAP Deputy Emir Said al-Shihri, military commander Qasim al-Raymi and Mohammed al-Awfi announcing the merging of the al-Qaeda regional arms in Saudi Arabia and Yemen into a new al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). The only changes made to the video were those done to enhance the audio and video where possible. The DVD has a video index for use in briefings and training. It plays on any standard DVD player in any region. It is encoded for NTSC players and contains Dolby Digital 2.0 audio. The DVD costs US$29.95.

The First and Exclusive Meeting with Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki

Volume 1 contains a 45'13" video from AQAP's al-Malahim entitled "The First and Exclusive Meeting with Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki". It was released on 23 May 2010 and is in Arabic. It features a video interview with al-Awlaki. He calls for Muslims to perform jihad against the US, praises Fort Hood gunman Nidal Hasan and calls on Muslims in the US to follow in his footsteps. Al-Awlaki also praised 25 Dec. 2009 Delta suicide bomber Omar al-Farouq and criticized the Yemeni government for assisting US security forces.
